More than twenty-five years writing about culture, media, wellness and travel.
A framework for measuring what attention is actually worth.
Two books, and a life that kept interrupting both.
I bring all of it into the room.
The experience isn't decoration on the analysis, it's where the analysis came from.

SPEAKING
Keynotes, panels, moderated conversations and festival appearances. Corporate audiences, industry events, literary programming and conferences.
Four talks I'm asked for most:
Design Before You Define And why most of us spend a lifetime defending instead
Most people define themselves too early, before they have enough information, and then spend the rest of their working lives defending a decision made by someone they've stopped being. I've had to redesign twice, neither time by choice. This talk is about learning to do it on purpose. It runs on my own rebuilds and on the Celebnomics case files, because the same pattern shows up in people and institutions alike. The ones still designing outlast the ones still defending.
Celebnomics: How Fame Became the Ultimate Currency
Why attention behaves like an economy, how value accumulates and evaporates, and what that means for anyone building a brand, a career or a catalogue.
Living the Soundtrack of Your Life With Intention
What our music chooses for us, what we choose back, and why the songs we carry aren't an accident.
Wellness Roulette
Twenty plus years inside the global wellness industry as a patient, caregiver and critic, and an honest accounting of who it actually serves.
Custom talks are welcome. Tell me the room and what you want people walking out with.

TEACHING
Guest lectures, graduate seminars, workshops and full course design.
I'm building a full-length graduate course with Celebnomics as its entry point, moving from attention economics into celebrity systems, cultural value, and how institutions measure the things they can't see. It's available for adoption, for co-teaching, or for adaptation into a program you already run.
The book itself is already in use in one graduate program, and under review by faculty at several universities for their own course design. If you're building a syllabus around media economics, cultural criticism or the attention economy, I'm glad to talk about where it fits. I visit courses that adopt it.
I've taught at university level, including a course titled Pop Music: Dead, Dying, or Just Different? Academic and student rates differ from corporate. Ask.

ADVISORY
Applying the Economic Value Model to real decisions. Brand and talent positioning, media and editorial strategy, cultural risk, and questions about how attention is being valued inside an organization.
The model measures four things: Base Visibility Score, Cultural Momentum, Value Longevity Factor and Legacy Control. Most organizations track the first two closely, guess at the third, and are genuinely surprised by the fourth.
Some of this is a single conversation that reframes a decision. Some of it runs over months. Tell me which you think you need and I'll tell you if I agree.

COMMISSIONS
Essays, criticism, reporting and long-form features.
Bylines include Rolling Stone India, Condé Nast Traveler, Man's World, HuffPost and Thrive Global. I write across culture, music, film, travel, wellness and media, and I'm most useful on stories that need someone who has been inside the thing rather than adjacent to it.
Come with a brief, or ask what I'm chasing. Both work.

HOW I WORK
Rates depend on format, audience, preparation and travel. Tell me what you have in mind and I'll be direct about what it costs.
Travel and scheduling need lead time. There are logistical specifics I'll raise early, and naming them up front makes the whole thing work better for both of us.
All engagements are paid. Selected pro bono work remains open, within limits.
Engagements are contracted through AV108 Media LLC.
